The DIS QG76 high accuracy, stainless steel, inclination sensors have been used in demanding applications, such as measuring the rotation of melt shop ladles.

These solid-state sensors have replaced costly, less reliable rotary encoders. Steel Mills have used the QG76 single-axis, inclination sensor to measure up-to a rotation of 360°.

Since DIS Sensors offers the unique ability to zero the sensor, mounting is not as critical. Although DIS Sensors are rated for higher than normal temperatures, an insulator material is placed between the sensor and the mounting surface to protect the sensor from heat conduction.
