Laser-View Technologies installed this Crane Sentry® system in 2019 for one of our clients so they could improve their crane reliability and safety. Our team used a modular system that consisted of:
- Crane Sentry® Zone Manager to keep the crane from colliding with walls when the hoist is rotated in the wrong position
- Crane Sentry® Zone Manager with an indicator light when the crane is in the correct position to be able to rotate
- Crane Sentry® Controller which integrates hoist movement and rotation with bridge and trolley
- Crane Sentry® Lite for monitoring hoist height
Our team went on-site last weekend to upgrade and service the system. We set up zones to protect the walls depending on the rotation of the lower lifter.
Laser-View Technologies’ Crane Sentry® Zone Manager No-Fly Zone permits rotation of a hoist only in areas that are safe. This helps to avoid damage to the building and to keep personnel safe.
