DIS Sensors tilt switches can be used to indicate the height and angle of scissors’ lifts and 4 post hydraulic lifts. These are commonly used for auto vehicle maintenance (see photo on right for example).
Each sensor comes packaged in a rugged, sealed, robust industrial housing. They indicate the angle of each lift based on a solid state, non-contact MEMS principle. They’re a great option for classified areas that do not require hazardous duty certifications because they do not include a mechanical contact that can spark.
