Over the past few months, the college experience has become quite different from what many have planned. Not only have colleges shifted to 100% online learning, but many students are unable to partake in internships this spring and summer due to many companies being forced to close or drastically reduce staff.

As many are adapting to an entirely new work environment, Laser-View Technologies is excited to bring back previous summer interns Nicholas Lubeck and Alexandria Lehman.

Nicholas Lubeck recently finished his Sophomore Year as a Robotics Engineer at Widener University. At school, he’s a member of the Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Widener Robotics Club, and Honors Program. When he’s not in class or building robots, Nicholas works as a math tutor and assistant in the music department. With 10+ years of competitive experience in VEX and FLL, Nicholas is co-founder and VP of Widener’s Robotics Club and serves as the Team Captain for Widener’s VexU Team. Widener’s Robotics Club is an engineering-based club that teaches students beyond the classroom and opens/leads way opportunities to apply what they know to a variety of competitive platforms and robotics-based workshops.

Alexandria Lehman is a rising Junior studying Mechanical Engineering at Worchester Polytechnic Institute. On-campus, Alexandira is involved as the Historian of WPI’s VexU Team, VP of VegClub, VP of Period. Alexandria was part of the WPI Robotics Committee, hosting its first VexU Competition in January 2020. Ironically, both WPI’s VexU Team and Widener’s VexU Team competed in this event and qualified for Vex Worlds, which was unfortunately canceled in April 2020.

Nicholas and Alexandria both graduated from in 2018 from Downingtown STEM Academy, where they were VEX Robotics Partners for 4 years.

We are pleased to welcome back these talented students back to the Laser-View Technologies team!
